brownie throwdown

 

inspired by Bobby Flay, we participated in a brownie throwdown with the Tei's

my brownie - gianduia brownies from the gourmet cookie book

Jason's brownie - peanut butter caramel swirl brownies from throwdown w/Bobby Flay

Becky's brownie - homemade brownie from a family recipe

after devouring all four brownies, the results were...

this brownie was pretty standard - had a nice texture, included white chocolate chips

(2)

this brownie was the most dense - it had a nice sweet & nutty flavor from the nutella

however the recipe called for way too many chopped hazelnuts

this brownie was very rich - the texture was a bit gooey; though very flavorful

it was hard to make it through the entire brownie

(4)

this brownie was classic - it had a lightly crisp top and a medium density throughout the rest

no extra frills added to this one, just a chocolate brownie

the unanimous winner was brownie (4) - congrats Becky!
